Information was provided to the faculty members of MCBU Business School regarding the JAFLE Project.

The dissemination activity for the JAFLE Project (The Journey of Unemployed Adults from Financial Literacy to Entrepreneurship), which was awarded a grant under the EU Erasmus+ Adult Education Strategic Partnerships with the project number 2021-1-TR01-KA220-ADU-000033446, was conducted by MCBU on December 13, 2023, at the Faculty of Business Administration. During the meeting, information about the project’s objectives, duration, partners, and activities was shared.

The Project Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Hatice YURTSEVER, who is also the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, stated in her presentation that financial literacy has become a key competence in 21st-century society. Starting from this point, she mentioned that the project, implemented in February 2022, aims to create a new financial literacy training program to increase the access of unemployed adults to the labor market and promote their employment. Additionally, she provided information about the pilot training sessions conducted within the scope of the JAFLE project, where financial literacy and entrepreneurship modules were taught, and blended training methods were used in all partner countries. She also shared details about other project outputs, including the Research Report and Proposal, as well as the E-learning platform.
